A search warrant served on a camper in the Four Winds Campground community in Caroline led to the arrest of three people.
The search warrant was served by the Narcotics Division of Caroline County Sherriff’s Office and members of the Tri-County Narcotics Task Force on December 27.
According to CCSO, the law enforcement action that day came in response to multiple undercover meth purchases that were previously made from 57-year-old Darren Field and 58-year-old Mary Lemons, who are both listed as Rappahannock Academy residents. Those two were arrested while the camper was being searched, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Inside, an disclosed of amount of suspected meth was discovered along with digital scales, meth “packaging materials,” and meth smoking devices, the Sheriff’s Office reported. A 32-year-old Stafford woman named Crystal Harris was also discovered in the camper with her young children.
Field, Lemons, and Harris were booked at Pamunkey Regional Jail.
Field is charged with 3 counts of meth distribution. He was not granted bond and remains in custody.
Lemons was charged with meth distribution and conspiracy to contribute. She was granted a $4,500 secured bond and is no longer listed as PRJ inmate.
Harris was charged with possession of meth, child endangerment, and child neglect. She was granted a $2,000 secured bond and also is no longer listed as an inmate.
