An Alexandria, VA man is facing attempted murder and a list of other charged stemming from an alleged case of road rage. On Thursday, April 3, Maryland State Police responded to a report of a shooting on Route 5 in near Burch Hill Road in Prince George’s County. The victim, who was uninjured, reported that a driver in a 2023 black Ford Explorer with Michigan tags shot at him. MSP said that driver was determined to be 46-year-old Marco Williams. A US Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force and the Maryland State Apprehension Team arrested Williams in Fairfax on April 9. Maryland State Police announced a Fairfax County, VA man has been arrested after being identified as the suspect in an “armed road rage” case this winter. The incident dates back to February 2, which is when MSP says a report came in that a driver in a black Ford F-150 pointed a firearm at another motorist. This allegedly occurred in the area of Interstate 95 and Route 1 in Prince George’s County. Using dashcam footage, investigators identified the suspect as 34-year-old Joshua John Cook, said MSP.
