Days after a 49-year-old Clarksville man was announced missing, he was found in a lake near Longwood Campground. Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office said a call came in on Friday, September 19, reporting a body was floating in the lake near the campground. The cause of death for the Navy sailor Angelina Resendiz has been ruled undetermined, her family reported. In a statement, the family wrote “Given the condition of her body, we understand why this conclusion was reached by the medical examiner.” Resendiz, a 21-year-old based at Naval Station Norfolk, was found dead off base nearly two weeks after she went missing. After a two-day search of the York River, on Tuesday morning, a body believed to be that of Steven Kendall Wright, a Richmond man, was discovered. Wright vanished Sunday afternoon while swimming at Gloucester Point Beach. The body of a 79-year-old Maryland woman was found in the river in Northumberland, according to the Sheriff’s Office Louise Cox, of Prince George’s County had been reported missing. Her missing poster stated she was last seen on Saturday, July 12, in the evening at Rivertowne Shopping Center in Oxon Hill. The vehicle associated with her was a black 2014 Honda Accord.
