No bond: Prince William police officer accused of victimizing woman twice

A Prince William Police Officer was arrested by his own department, and the 28-year-old is being held without bond after allegedly committing crimes against the same woman twice. According to Prince William Police Department the accused and victim knew each other but authorities didn’t elaborate on how. PWPD reported that following an investigation, investigators determined, on June 4, while on duty, James Clinton, of Woodbridge, was in a secured area of Potomac Mills talking to the female victim, who worked at the mall. Clinton allegedly “forcibly handcuffed” her. “At no time during the interaction was the victim being detained or otherwise arrested for a criminal violation,” PWPD confirmed. Three property owners, including a Dinwiddie farmer, the owner of a Chesterfield horse boarding business, and the operator of a recreational hunting operation in Halifax were suing the Department of Wildlife Resources over the Right to Retrieve law. That law allows hunters to go onto private property unannounced and without permission to retrieve their hunting dogs. A Warsaw man has pled guilty to three charges in a Richmond County case where two dogs were killed. As previously reported, last March, Keno and Felon, reportedly disappeared from their owner’s residence in Haynesville and were found shot and stacked on top of each other by the road in neighboring Westmoreland County. Earvin David Gray was arrested and charged with two misdemeanors, animal cruelty and obstruction of justice. He also faced felony destruction of property. Court records show Gray stuck a plea whereby his felony was reduced to misdemeanor destruction of property. In return, he pled guilty to all three charges with the agreement that he would receive a 12-month sentence for each charge but all time would be suspended. According to Southampton Sheriff’s Office, an incident this weekend near Capron evolved from speeding to police chase to crash before landing a Florida man in jail with no bond. A deputy allegedly clocked 22-year-old Thierry Milien, of Orlando, going 104 mph in a 60 mph zone on Southampton Pkwy. The deputy tried to stop the sedan, but according to SCSO, Milien disregarded the officer continuing at a high rate of speed. Maryland State Police announced a Fairfax County, VA man has been arrested after being identified as the suspect in an “armed road rage” case this winter. The incident dates back to February 2, which is when MSP says a report came in that a driver in a black Ford F-150 pointed a firearm at another motorist. Alexandria Police Department revealed that what began as a shooting investigation is now a death investigation. Thursday evening, around 8: 14 p.m. APD was dispatched to the 1300 block of Wythe Street to respond to a report of shots fired. Initially, APD reported that two people were shot.
