Richmond County dog shooting ends with no-jail plea
A Warsaw man has pled guilty to three charges in a Richmond County case where two dogs were killed.
As previously reported, last March, Keno and Felon, reportedly disappeared from their owner’s residence in Haynesville and were found shot and stacked on top of each other by the road in neighboring Westmoreland County.
Earvin David Gray was arrested and charged with two misdemeanors, animal cruelty and obstruction of justice. He also faced felony destruction of property.
Court records show Gray stuck a plea whereby his felony was reduced to misdemeanor destruction of property. In return, he pled guilty to all three charges with the agreement that he would receive a 12-month sentence for each charge but all time would be suspended.
