Virginia State Police has released additional information about 38-year-old Jason Fragale amid an continued effort to get the public to provide any information they may have.
Last month, VSP and Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement issued a joint statement noting that Fragale has been linked to Leesburg, VA and Kissimmee, FL.
He is facing 10 felony warrants in Loudoun County, VA. Half are for possession of child porn and half are for reproduction of child porn.
According to the statement, a cyber tip was submitted to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Investigators then tracked the IP address to Fragale’s Leesburg residence.
He also has residence in Kissimmee. And he has ties to a cheerleading company called “The Crimson All-Star Cheerleading Club” that’s registered in Florida and Virginia and had an office in Reston, VA, authorities said.
Fragale was arrested at a Florida airport attempting to leave the country, authorities reported. He has been extradited back to Virginia is now at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
Fragale is believed to have contacted juveniles through messaging apps, and he may have victims in Florida, last month’s joint statement noted.
Today, VSP said the Northern Virginia-Washington, DC Internet Crimes Against Children (NOVA-DC ICAC) Task Force is continually pursuing new leads in the case and, in recent weeks, they found that Fragale was also using the alias “Jason Mariani.”
Additionally, authorities found between late 2022 and the spring of 2023, he was allegedly presenting himself as being a USA Cheer coach and a modeling recruiter.
Investigators are now seeking information from anyone who went to his Reston business on Freedom Drive for photo shoots, cheer lessons and/or recruitment coaching. Those with information are urged to contact Special Agent Michael Bullock at [email protected] or 571-581-4420.
