Trio charged for Westmoreland burglaries arrested for Gloucester burglary

Three men from Warsaw arrested last month for burglaries in Westmoreland County are now facing burglary charges in Gloucester.

Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office reported that on April 3, 2025, deputies responded to a residential burglary on Woods Cross Road. Investigators found evidence of forced entry into the home.

According to the GCSO, the investigation quickly gained traction when a witness reported a suspicious vehicle in their driveway around the time of the burglary. Investigators got camera footage and found the vehicle then identified the owner.

GCSO investigators identified three suspects, all residing in the Northern Neck, and began collaborating with the Richmond County and Westmoreland County Sheriffs’ Offices. That communication revealed these individuals were also suspects in crimes committed in the Northern Neck.

GCSO executed in Richmond County and reported that those searches resulted in the recovery of several firearms stolen during the Woods Cross Road burglary along with other evidence and property stolen from other jurisdictions.

In a letter to Gloucester Sheriff Darrell Warren, the victim, Mark Hall praised officers not only for catching the suspects in six days but also for the return of nearly all his belongings. According to Hall, his wife jewelry box and his entire gun safe were stolen.

“I didn’t hold onto much hope of ever seeing those things again,” he wrote.

Westmoreland burglaries

The Gloucester arrests follow charges against the same trio for two residential break-ins in Westmoreland County, also in early April. In those incidents, the men are accused of stealing guns, power tools, dirt bikes, and jewelry.

Following an in-depth investigation by WCSO, Morris, David Wright, and Michael Wright were identified as suspects and arrested in Richmond County.

In that case, a significant amount of the stolen possessions were also recovered and have since been returned to their owners.

In Westmoreland, the three men were each charged with two counts of conspiring to break and enter, two counts of residential breaking and entering during the daytime, two counts of theft valued over $1,000, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Morris is also facing charges in Northumberland County for child endangerment/cruelty, vandalism, burglary, and trespassing.
