Starting Thursday, July 24, Route 3 travelers can expect overnight delays crossing the Robert O. Norris Bridge between Lancaster and Middlesex.

There will be one-way, alternating traffic due to additional work on a maintenance project that began earlier this year to strengthen and replace the bridge’s structural steel.
Starting Thursday, July 24 through Saturday, July 26, a portion of the Route 3 bridge over the Rappahannock River will be reduced to a single travel lane between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., and on Friday night through Saturday morning between 7 p.m. and 9 a.m.
