A juvenile suspect of undisclosed age is in custody following a fatal shooting that occurred early Friday morning in Radford.
Radford City Police responded to reports of gunfire around 2:35 a.m. in the 1100 block of Downey Street and reported finding a victim suffering from a single gunshot wound.

The individual was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities quickly identified and apprehended a juvenile suspect, who now faces multiple charges, including:
- 2nd degree murder
- Possession of a handgun by a person under 18
- Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony
