A 12-year boy was abducted in Virginia Beach on January 24th, 2025 at approximately 9 a.m., Virginia State Police announced. Juan Sebastian Mejia Acevedo, a Hispanic male, was last seen in the 200 block of Mica Avenue. Authorities say the child is believed to be in “extreme danger.”
He has black hair, brown eyes, is 5’ 8” inches tall, and weighs 105 pounds. He does not have any identifiable scars, marks, or tattoos. And according to police, the last time he was seen, he was wearing blue pants, a red hoodie, and black shoes.
Virginia State Police and Virginia Beach Police believe whoever abducted Acevedo is an unknown person.
