No bond: Prince William police officer accused of victimizing woman twice

A Prince William Police Officer was arrested by his own department, and the 28-year-old is being held without bond after allegedly committing crimes against the same woman twice. According to Prince William Police Department the accused and victim knew each other but authorities didn’t elaborate on how. PWPD reported that following an investigation, investigators determined, on June 4, while on duty, James Clinton, of Woodbridge, was in a secured area of Potomac Mills talking to the female victim, who worked at the mall. Clinton allegedly “forcibly handcuffed” her. “At no time during the interaction was the victim being detained or otherwise arrested for a criminal violation,” PWPD confirmed. Port workers from Maine to Texas started striking at midnight on August 1. The Port of Virginia (POV) confirmed that no cargo is moving in or out of its port during this work stoppage. Maryland State Police announced a Fairfax County, VA man has been arrested after being identified as the suspect in an “armed road rage” case this winter. The incident dates back to February 2, which is when MSP says a report came in that a driver in a black Ford F-150 pointed a firearm at another motorist. Nathaniel Lee Edmonds, a 24-year-old from Front Royal, is currently in RSW Regional Jail facing a 2nd degree murder charge for the death of his 1-year-old. The child died Wednesday, Sept. 18, according to Front Royal Police Dept.
