Another Truist bank robbery in Leesburg, suspect arrested
Leesburg Police Department announced the man suspected of robbing Truist Bank this morning has been arrested.
Earlier today, LPD revealed officers were on the scene around the 1000 block of Edwards Ferry Road NE and the 200 block of Fort Evans Road NE (Leesburg Premium Outlets) actively investigating a robbery that occurred at approximately 11:40 a.m.
While canvassing the area, an officer spotted a person matching the suspect’s description near the Leesburg Premium Outlet Mall. According to LPD, the man ran, and there was a brief foot chase before officers apprehended him.
He was identified as 25-year-old Joshua Boyce of Leesburg.
