16-year-old in Fairfax shot in officer-involved shooting. By who? And how?
Virginia State Police released select details but left many unfilled blanks in the report of a traffic stop that turned into a 16-year-old getting shot in an "officer-involved shooting."
According to VSP, on April 29, Fairfax City Police attempted to make a traffic stop near Burke Station Road and Main Street, but “the suspect vehicle” fled the scene. A state trooper was notified at approximately 12:43 a.m.
VSP did not provide any details about the vehicle or provide a reason for the traffic stop.
