Leesburg Police seek info on burglary at Burberry

Police are looking for the suspects or any information the public may have about a burglary at the Burberry Store at the Leesburg Premium Outlets.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:57 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3 and involved several unidentified suspects, Leesburg PD says.

“The suspects entered the store after breaking through a front window,” police say.

Video surveillance from the police department doesn’t show the moment the window was broken, but it shows individuals coming through the opening and shows what appears to be a broken cement slab amid the shattered glass.

LPD didn’t put an estimate on the loss but says the suspects “stole a significant amount of merchandise” including handbags, apparel, and accessories.

The suspects were dressed in dark clothing and wearing masks, moved quickly through the store, and fled before officers arrived, LPD added.
