Death Toll Rises to 2 in ODU Campus Shooting, Identities Revealed
One of the victims wounded in Thursday’s shooting inside a Reserve Officers’ Training Corps classroom at Old Dominion University has died, authorities confirmed.
The victim was identified Lt. Col. Brandon Shah, the head of the university’s Army ROTC program and a professor of military science.
Shah, a Virginia native and an ODU alumnus, enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2003 and has received numerous military commendations, including two Bronze Stars.
