Wanted man jumps off James River Bridge, survives

A 29 year-old Suffolk man who was wanted for felony probation violation jumped off the James River Bridge this morning, January 22, in an attempt to avoid arrest but was later caught, Virginia State Police reported. Kelly Golden, Jr. was driving a 2021 Hyundai sedan headed northbound on the James River Bridge, when at around 8:45 a.m., he caught the attention of a DMV special agent who reportedly saw him driving recklessly, VSP noted. That agent attempted to stop Golden, but he allegedly refused. However, traffic had come to a halt because the bridge was opening. According to VSP, “in an attempt to flee the agent,” Golden sideswiped a 2022 Toyota Rav4 and ran into the back of a 2018 Dodge Charger and a 2019 Ford Fusion. Virginia State Police asking for tips on wanted Chesapeake woman

Virginia State Police is asking for the public’s help to locate a 27-year-old Chesapeake woman wanted for allegedly causing a fatal crash. On December 30, in the early hours, Dominique Chi'qura Goodwin was driving a 2018 Volkswagen heading eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-64 in Norfolk and crashed head-on into a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox, according to VSP. The Equinox was driven Shelby Riddick Walker of Portsmouth who was killed instantly, authorities say. Goodwin is facing an aggravated involuntary manslaughter charge. VSP said it has seen been trying to find Goodwin to arrest her, but those efforts have not been successful. Westmoreland man wanted for Stafford County murder

The 29-year-old Westmoreland County man wanted for murder in Stafford should be considered armed and dangerous, the Sheriff’s Office warned. Darren Jamal Newman is wanted for the fatal shooting of an unnamed 33-year-old from King George. According to SCSO, police responded to the 100 block of Deacon Rd. in South Stafford on December 30 shortly before 12:30 a.m. They found a man from King George man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Deputies began rendering aid, and the he man was transported to the hospital. Fredericksburg man wanted for murder in Prince William

Tyrus James Terrell, a 27-year-old Fredericksburg resident, is wanted for the murder of Quatrail R. Smalls of Big Stone Gap, Prince William Police Department announced. On Tuesday, Nov. 14, at around 8:40 p.m., police responded to the 3700 block of Wharf Ln. in Triangle to investigate a shooting and reported finding Smalls lying on the ground. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots in the area where the 26-year-old was shot, the Police Department stated. And they found shell casings in the road and discovered a residence in the Linden Park Apartment complex was also hit by gunfire.
