Murder suspect leads VA Beach Police on 4-city chase, gets away, found & arrested

Deric Lee Jr., a 42-year-old murder suspect, got away after allegedly leading police on a chase through four Hampton Roads cities, but he was captured less than a day a later. On April 30, at about 10 p.m., Virginia Beach Police Department (VBPD) responded to the 3600 block of Harbinger Rd. for a shooting where they found a victim, 63-year-old Regina Banks of Virginia Beach, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. Authorities are calling on the public for help as they pursue leads in the murder of a 19-year-old who was fatally shot Saturday night in Alexandria. The victim, identified as Deaundre Jack, was a resident of Alexandria.
