Leesburg man to face attempted murder for Maryland road rage shooting

A 22-year-old Leesburg, VA, man is awaiting extradition to Maryland for a road rage shooting on Memorial Day.Maryland State Police stated that on May 26, at around 6:30 p.m., the College Park Barrack responded to a report of shots fired on I-95 South, just south of Route 198 in Prince George’s County. Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) announced the release of the final two correctional officers hospitalized following a brutal stabbing incident at Wallens Ridge State Prison. VSP explains how dump truck crashed over side of I-664 overpass in Suffolk

Although the investigation is still underway, Virginia State Police provided details about how a dump truck went off an I-664 overpass in Suffolk and crashed down on Bridge Rd. At around 11:30 a.m., 20-year-old William Carl Moore was driving an unloaded Western Star dump truck northbound on I-664. A tire exploded causing Moore to lose control, and he ran off the road and hit the jersey wall, VSP said.
