Alexandria, VA man facing attempted murder for Maryland road rage shooting

An Alexandria, VA man is facing attempted murder and a list of other charged stemming from an alleged case of road rage. On Thursday, April 3, Maryland State Police responded to a report of a shooting on Route 5 in near Burch Hill Road in Prince George’s County.  The victim, who was uninjured, reported that a driver in a 2023 black Ford Explorer with Michigan tags shot at him. MSP said that driver was determined to be 46-year-old Marco Williams. A US Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force and the Maryland State Apprehension Team arrested Williams in Fairfax on April 9. Zeon Detwan Garner was sentenced for the 3-person shooting that occurred on May 30 in the the 800 block of Edwards Ferry Road NE in Leesburg. That evening, Garner was with his mother and sister, and they encountered three people in the courtyard of the apartment complex. According to Leesburg Commonwealth’s Attorney Office, Garner had an ongoing issue with one of those individuals, and one of them allegedly brandished a firearm as Garner passed with his family. After escorting his family inside, said Garner came back out of the apartment, passed the group again, who Garner said continued to “mean mug” him. A 28-year-old man is being held without bond in Rappahannock Regional Jail after three alleged incidents of sexual misconduct within a short timeframe on March 29. Fredericksburg officers were dispatched to a scene where a man was reported to be exposing himself to Girl Scouts who were selling cookies. According to Fredericksburg Police Department, a patron instructed the man to leave, and he rode off on his bike before officers arrived. At J. Brian’s Restaurant, the same man approached an employee and asked if he could assist her with her effort to put up a flag. While helping her, FPD said he grabbed her butt. Two adults and a juvenile are facing charges in Patrick County for a severe attack of a 17-year-old on March 21st. According to Patrick County Sheriff, Dan Smith, the teenage victim was at a friend’s home in Elamsville. Freddie Lee Kendrick Jr, 22, and Amber Mary Kendrick, 24, went to pick up a 15-year-old and the three went to the victim’s location. Kendrick Jr. allegedly commanded the 15-year-old to attack the 17-year-old. Video and cell phone messages allegedly show Amber Kendrick videoing the attack and Kendrick Jr orchestrating the attack, the sheriff stated. “The victim tried to run from the assailant and did not want to fight. Attempted murder suspect captured in Botetourt

Joseph Bray, an Eagle Rock, VA man, facing two counts of attempted murder and over a dozen other charges was taken into custody this afternoon without incident, according to Botetourt County Sheriff's Office. Earlier this week, BCSO announced they were looking for Bray whose charges stemmed from an incident that began with an alleged domestic dispute with his girlfriend Arieanna McDorman and led to him shooting at her mother. Botetourt deputies, Virginia State Police and the US Marshal Service Capital Area Regional Task Force "employed every available law enforcement resource to locate and capture" Bray, BCSO said. The incident was uncovered by CMS students who reportedly overheard the suspect talking about threats of violence that would occur at the school after spring break. Those students reported what they heard, according to School Resource Officer Deputy I. Deitz. Police seeking Eagle Rock man for attempted murder & woman he allegedly assaulted

Botetourt County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance locating an Eagle Rock, VA man facing a list of charges, including attempted murder, and a woman who may be with him against her will. According to BCSO, Arieanna McDorman, on March 23, a 32-year-old Clifton Forge woman, contacted her mother claiming she was in a dispute with her boyfriend.  The mother, who wasn’t named, and her partner, also unidentified, went to the location where McDorman was, a residence in the 20000 block of Botetourt Road in Eagle Rock. BCSO said when they arrived to pick up McDorman, a suspect, later identified as 34-year-old Joseph Bray Lee, of Eagle Rock, was restraining McDorman by the arm. An 18-year-old has been arrested for the fatal hit-and-run that occurred at Airport Drive in Henrico last Saturday, March 22. The incident reportedly began with a New Kent deputy attempting to stop a vehicle headed westbound on I-64. According to New Kent Sheriff’s Office, that vehicle was going over 110 miles per hour. Refusing to stop, the car, later identified as a Cadillac CTS, continued into Henrico and took the Airport Road exit. All five Fredericksburg City Public Schools were closed Friday, March 21, due to a wanted 16-year-old from Fairfax. Fasihullah Safar, who lives in Alexandria, was reported missing by his family on March 17, according to Fairfax County Police Department. On Wednesday, March 19, a school resource officer saw him at James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg. The school system said when the SRO approached him, he fled.
