3 hit with meth charges after search warrant at Caroline County campground

A search warrant served on a camper in the Four Winds Campground community in Caroline led to the arrest of three people. The search warrant was served by the Narcotics Division of Caroline County Sherriff’s Office and members of the Tri-County Narcotics Task Force on December 27. According to CCSO, the law enforcement action that day came in response to multiple undercover meth purchases that were previously made from 57-year-old Darren Field and 58-year-old Mary Lemons, who are both listed as Rappahannock Academy residents. Man who fled Caroline police found & arrested

A man wanted in Caroline County after reportedly running away during a traffic stop has been arrested. According to Caroline Sheriff’s Office, on December 27, just before 7 p.m. Deputy S. Mullane tried to stop a box truck on Ladysmith Rd. in front of Sheetz because the officer had reason to believe the vehicle was stolen. The driver, now believed to be 32-year-old Kevin Anthony Gibbons, pulled over. But according to CCSO, he jumped out, abandoning the box truck, and ran across a construction area toward Green Rd. Deputy Mullan went a chase but lost sight of the man due to “the dark and heavy rains,” the Sheriff’s Office reported. After a 15-month investigation, Albert Benjamin Wharton was extradited from Pickens County, SC to Richmond County, VA to face 30 felonies for crimes against children. A 55-year-old nurse practitioner has been charged and arrested for inappropriately touching patients during their medical consultations. Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office explained that the initial charges against Keith Allen Henry, listed as a Lewisberg, NC resident, were related to a 7-year-old patient. Fredericksburg man wanted for murder in Prince William

Tyrus James Terrell, a 27-year-old Fredericksburg resident, is wanted for the murder of Quatrail R. Smalls of Big Stone Gap, Prince William Police Department announced. On Tuesday, Nov. 14, at around 8:40 p.m., police responded to the 3700 block of Wharf Ln. in Triangle to investigate a shooting and reported finding Smalls lying on the ground. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots in the area where the 26-year-old was shot, the Police Department stated.
