VSP Searching for Leads in Fatal Hit-and-Run in Alexandria

At approximately 6:12 a.m. this morning, March 24, Virginia State Police reported getting dispatched for a pedestrian on Interstate 395.  According to VSP, when troopers arrived on the scene, a pedestrian was in the center lane of the northbound side of the interstate dead. The individual was found near the exit for Duke Street. VSP has not released any details about the deceased individual and said they are still working on the identity.
