An unidentified person is dead after a police pursuit turned fatal. Around 5 a.m. this morning, an Amelia County deputy reportedly tried to stop a 2005 Toyota Tacoma that was going over 100 mph in a 55-mph zone on Rt. 360. Two teens have been charged following the shooting of an 18-year-old female during a party in Henry County. On August 3, at approximately 1:50 a.m., Henry County deputies were dispatched to the 1700 block of Chatham Road for a report of shots fired. Shortly afterward, a young woman arrived at SOVAH Health Martinsville with gunshot wounds.
