40-year-old Woodbridge twins alleged shoplifting attempt leads to drug charge

A set of 40-year-old twins from Woodbridge was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly committing a brazen act of shoplifting. According to Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, deputy R.L. Hubbard and deputy S.A. Hensley were dispatched to the Walmart at 11 Village Parkway around 5:30 p.m. for a report of two males who were allegedly walking out of the store with unpaid merchandise. The deputies found the pair in Lidl parking lot, and they had shopping carts, SCSO reported. VSP launching special operation on Interstate 66 for Super Bowl weekend

Drivers be advised, this weekend Virginia State Police are launching a traffic enforcement operation on Interstate 66 targeting those they consider to be risky drivers. VSP has issued advanced warning that people should line up their designated drivers for the Super Bowl. Over the next few days, troopers will not only be out on I-66, they'll be out in numbers. “The weekend of the Super Bowl is an excellent time to tackle bad driving behaviors,” said Lt. Col. A 44-year-old Ashburn woman is accused of going on quite a porch-raiding spree last fall. According to Leesburg Police Department, on Friday Nov 17, someone reported that a white woman with blonde hair had snatched a package that had just been delivered on Nivens Court SW. The package snatcher was driving a white colored sedan, LPD was told. Manassas man ejected, killed in I-81 crash in Shenandoah

A two-vehicle accident on I-81 in Shenandoah County proved fatal for an ejected passenger. The incident occurred Monday, January 29, at 6 p.m. at the 289 mile marker, Virginia State Police reported.
