Virginia State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 19-year-old suspect wanted in connection with a fatal shooting along Interstate 85. At approximately 3:47 p.m. on August 28, troopers responded to reports of a shooting on I-85 northbound near the five-mile marker in Mecklenburg. When troopers arrived at the scene, they found a Honda Civic that had gone off the right side of the road and down in a culvert.
