A 39-year-old man is in custody following a deadly domestic violence incident in Chesapeake that left a woman dead and two police officers shot. Shaun M. Boker was apprehended Wednesday morning in Portsmouth after a brief standoff with police. After a two-day search of the York River, on Tuesday morning, a body believed to be that of Steven Kendall Wright, a Richmond man, was discovered. Wright vanished Sunday afternoon while swimming at Gloucester Point Beach. The body of a 79-year-old Maryland woman was found in the river in Northumberland, according to the Sheriff’s Office Louise Cox, of Prince George’s County had been reported missing.
